Smelly Cheese Co
Poster The Collective Lily Pond by Kate Wauchope
This poster is a celebration of community, creativity and French joie de vivre.
The Collective Lily Pond was born at a Bastille Day Cheese and Wine tasting hosted by Valérie of The Smelly Cheese Company at Adelaide Central Market. Artist Kate Wauchope designed the large Monet-esque banners that set the scene, captured the day through live illustration, and created an interactive art activation where guests were invited to paint their own lily leaf and sign their name — each one becoming part of a larger, collective masterpiece inspired by Monet's iconic water lilies.
The result is this beautiful, one-of-a-kind artwork — a lily pond painted by the people who were there, brought together by good cheese, good wine and good company.
