The Poitou-Charentes region to the west of France is known to be the cradle of French goat cheese production. The pastures and rolling hills of this region provide an environment that allows goats to produce a high yield of excellent quality milk. 

This visually stunning cheese is made by Poitou-Chèvre, a family-run business known for their production of traditional goat cheeses, like Chabichou du Poitou or Mothais-sur-feuille. 

Made in the similar style, this soft goat’s cheese is sweet and delicate with a floral wrinkly rind spotted with red dots of Espelette pepper.
