Tavoliere cheese is a unique cheese that embodies the essence of Venetian tradition. The cheese is semi-firm in texture made from pasteurised milk. The interior of the cheese is pale yellow in colour and has a distinctive appearance as it is riddled with random sized eyes. The cheese melts in your mouth releasing notes of butter and fresh milk, the flavour is delicate with a slight tang while the aroma is reminiscent of yoghurt and butter, displaying the terroir of the Veneto region. It is matured for a minimum of 45 days with a natural rind and treated with a natural colourant and olive oil.
