Our subscription service was born from a desire to bring some of the best and unique cheeses the Smelly Cheese Shop has to offer on regular basis to cheese lovers around Australia that are often too busy or too far away, and yet very keen to expand on their palate and cheese experience.
We all know too well how daunting it can be to face a cheese counter with over 200 different cheeses, some of which you can hardly pronounce their names... but we also believe that a relationship with a good cheesemonger is the way to go if you want to learn more about each and everyone of them.
So how about you let Valerie Henbest, cheese expert extraordinaire, select four cheeses for you every month? It will allow you to enjoy some great classics as well as discover new and exciting cheeses you might have never heard of. Their stories will be compiled in a customised booklet.
Mandy Hall, Masterchef Australia 2019 contestant, is creating a recipe with at least one cheese involved, and Nick Stock, international wine expert, is providing you with tips on the best wine to drink with each cheese in your box.
These three experts will join forces every month to give you an opportunity to join them via a zoom link to discuss further not only the cheeses you just received but also answer all questions you might have in your mind at the time.
